2016 Markets

Happy New Year

As we head into another year of the markets we have released our 2016 Application form which you can download here.

The Smart Street Markets operate every Saturday of the year from 9am-2pm. Stallholders are welcome to attend on a regular basis (weekly, fortnightly, monthly) or as casuals. This is a general market so we have a wide range of products for sale including food, art and crafts, new products such as Scentsy and Enjo, imported goods and good quality secondhand goods.

Full size stalls of 3m by 3m cost $20 each if you have your own Public Liability Insurance. Alternatively you can be covered under the market's insurance policy for a further $10
Stall sites are bare so stallholders need to bring all required equipment with them.  Some stallholders bring marquees but others just use racks and tables. It is a "pay on the day" market so if your plans change or the weather is unsuitable then you won't lose your stall fee.

All stalls need to be registered with the markets before attending. This can be done by returning the application form found above along with your insurance certificate of currency if you have insurance. This only needs to be done once per calendar year, then you are registered with the market and you can attend whenever you like.

At this stage you do not need to book in each week to attend as we still have spaces available in the Mall.

We also have a special events calendar where we run alongside other events within the vicinity, for these events booking is generally required.

On market days, stallholders can start setting up from 7am. Due to the cleaners coming through we are unable to allow stalls to set up earlier than this. We run until 2pm unless otherwise stated and require stalls to remain set up until this time.

New stallholders are always welcome

Some of our stallholders have been selling at the Smart Street Markets for many years, others have joined in the last few weeks.  Some stallholders come to our market only over winter when Mandurah's other markets close, others sell at our market when they are on holiday in Mandurah.

And all are most welcome!

The eclectic mix of stallholders means that our market is different every week and there is always some new treasure to discover.

If you would like to join then here are some details.
- Stalls cost $20 if you have your own Public Liability Insurance or $30 without (you will be covered by the market's insurance).
- The market is held every Saturday of the year from 9am-2pm
- The market is held in Smart Street Mall in Mandurah which is a lovely tree-lined open air mall containing over 30 specialty stores and three cafes.
- Stall sites are bare so you will need to bring all required equipment with you.
- Once registered (see below), stallholders do not have to pre-book sites.  You can just turn up on the day.  This means that if the weather isn't suitable or your plans change then you won't lose your stall fee.
- This is a general market so we have a huge range of stalls including fruit and vegetables; jams, chutneys and preserves; artworks and handcrafts; herbs, vegetable seedlings and other plants; street food; clothing and accessories; retro, vintage, antique and other second-hand goods; party plan products such as Enjo, Tupperware, Scentsy and Nutrimetics; a selection of weird and wonderful unique stalls such as handmade dog treats and nappy cake gift baskets.

To register, email smartstreetmarkets@gmail.com and we'll send you the application form.  This can be emailed back to us or dropped in to Terrace Art Framers in the mall.
